Alive and Kicking

Five years down the line, all is still well my side of things. There's never a perfect outcome in situations such as these, but it's at best a negligible issue now, unnoticed by others for the most part (in that most partners see it as being somewhere on a recognisable scale). If I had to nail my colours to an approach that works, I'd say mostly traction (though it comes with its risks), a degree of VED and also pentox thrown into the mix. Everyone's condition is different of course, and for some it's more about waiting for advancements than taking advantage of current treatments. The best of luck to you all.
